Gutters
Gutters are an important
part of a home's rainwater drainage system. If they fail, the
foundation could be undermined, or rainwater could ruin the exterior
or flood the interior. Leaves and other tree debris seem to cause
the most gutter trouble for homeowners.
If you need to have your
gutters cleaned, I can clean them. If you need a gutter shield
installed to keep tree debris out of your gutters, I can install
it. (I am testing various gutter protection products and hope
to have some results by summer 2004. Then, I'll be prepared to
make a recommendation.)
If you have rainwater
running behind your gutters (as evidenced by vertical streaks
on the fascia board behind and below the gutter), I can easily
install flashing that will guide water into the gutter. This will
help to keep the fascia boards from rotting.
I cleaned the leaves
out of these gutters, so rainwater can now flow out.
I cleaned all the pinestraw
out of this gutter and covered it with the covers pictured on
the right. (I will install this product, but I cannot yet vouch
for its effectiveness.)
