Decks

I build, repair, and seal decks.

When sealing a deck, it is necessary to have three consecutive days without rain. On the first day, I pressure-wash the deck clean. The next day, after it has dried, I apply the deck sealer, and then the sealer needs a day to dry before it can withstand rain or traffic.

I built this deck. The original deck's supports had eroded, so I demolished and rebuilt the entire deck, built with pressure-treated lumber on concrete footers.

I created this small deck because the sidewalk had shifted and created a serious trip hazard. The homeowner preferred to cover the problem area, rather than demolish and reinstall the sidewalk.
